Job Summary

Are you a teacher or educator with a passion for developing engaging lesson plans, building curriculum, and helping others learn? BlueFin is seeking a Training Coordinator to design and deliver training programs that empower employees and strengthen organizational competencies.

In this role, you will translate complex material into accessible learning modules, coordinate training schedules, and collaborate with subject matter experts. This is a great opportunity for math or science educators at or above the high school level with strong instructional experience, to apply their skills in a professional training environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities   

  • Coordinate and schedule technical training sessions in partnership with management and operational teams.
  • Maintain training modules tailored to specific product lines and equipment within the PPIS suite of services.
  • Design and update training content.
  • Deliver and partner with field trainers with training in classroom, shop, yard, or onsite field environments.
  • Track training progress, prepare competency logs, and provide regular updates to management.
  • Create engaging instructional materials (handouts, videos, guides).
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and recommend improvements.
  • Track and report on training completion status and program effectiveness.
  • Produce engaging training materials, including handouts, videos, manuals, and classroom aids.
  • Organize and document competency assessments and maintain training logs.
  • Help prepare training schedules.
  • Ensure all training environments are adequately prepared and equipped.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee training and certifications using designated systems.
  • Prepare training material for new product lines

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in education strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years in a training environment or teaching environment.
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities.
  • Background in developing lesson plans, syllabi, or structured learning experiences (educators highly encouraged to apply).
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in tracking and reporting training data.
  • Awareness of leadership, business, and project management principles.

Physical Requirements

  • Travel may be required
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • Extended use of computer and screen time.
  • Must pass a background check, drug screening, and/or physical examination.
