Fabtronic Inc. is seeking a skilled and experienced Mold Maker Designer to join our team. As a Mold Maker Designer, you will be responsible for designing and creating molds used in the manufacturing of automotive paint aide tools. This is a critical role in our company as it directly impacts the quality and efficiency of our production processes.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop molds using CAD software
- Create detailed 2D and 3D models of molds
- Collaborate with internal engineers and management team to understand project requirements
- Ensure that molds meet strict quality standards and specifications
- Perform mold repairs and modifications as needed
- Conduct testing and evaluation of molds to ensure functionality
- Continuously improve mold design and manufacturing processes
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Mold Maker Designer
- Proficiency in CAD software (such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks)
- Strong understanding of mold design principles and manufacturing processes
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Experience with mold repair and modification
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Good communication and collaboration skills
