Haverkamp Group is a 30-year-old family business and is a collection of companies focused on multifamily development, acquisitions, design, construction management, and property management. We are all working together towards our 10-Year Target to triple the value of our investments. In addition to Multi-Family RE, we have a strong investment in farms through Haverkamp Farms, and a new brokerage company, Haverkamp Investments.
As a Corporate Accountant, you will play a critical role in managing and maintaining the financial integrity of our organization. You will be responsible for overseeing general ledger accounting, preparing financial statements, managing reconciliations, ensuring compliance with accounting policies, and supporting various accounting functions.

- Prepare and maintain financial statements, balance sheets, and profit/loss statements.
- Perform general ledger reconciliations and month-end/year-end closings.
- Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and reports.
- Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, internal controls, and legal regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and analysis.
- Assist with tax filings and other regulatory reporting requirements.
- Identify areas for process improvements and contribute to streamlining accounting procedures.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in corporate accounting or a related field; strong candidates with relevant academic background and internship experience will also be considered.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Accounting software (e.g., Net Suite, QuickBooks).
- Fund Accounting and/or multi-entity accounting experience preferred
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
