SUMMARY
Coordinates and expedites the flow of materials, work orders, and production activities within and between departments to ensure production schedules are met. Supports Production Control by helping track, prioritize, and expedite materials and work orders through all phases of manufacturing, while maintaining alignment with ERP systems and AS9100/ISO standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Production schedules, work orders, material requirements, and shortages to identify and address potential delays.
Actively track and expedite the movement of materials and work orders through production.
Partner with Production Controllers to monitor the status of in-process jobs, update work order priorities, and ensure critical path items remain on schedule.
Communicate changes in production schedules and priorities across departments.
Review material shortage reports and initiate transfer, purchase, or expedited actions as required. Coordinate with Purchasing, Quality, Receiving, and Warehouse teams to resolve material or inspection delays.
Work with Production Control to open, modify, or close Work Orders as needed to support production flow.
Record and follow up on production-related action items.
Assist in maintaining accurate ERP system records related to material availability and work order progress. Prioritize inspection of purchased items and notify Quality when critical materials are received.
Notify appropriate leadership of potential delays and recommend corrective actions.
Perform other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment.
Ensure activities are conducted in accordance with Atec International Standards Organization (AS9100/ISO) policies and correct and report any deviations to appropriate area manager/supervisor.

AS9100/ISO SPECIFIC DUTIES
Be familiar with and understand the Atec Quality Policy and company objectives.
Understand required AS9100/ISO specific Procedures and Work Instructions.
Complete all records required by Procedures and Work Instructions.
Participate in Atec Continuous Improvement activities as appropriate.
Participate in AS9100/ISO training as required.
Cooperate with Auditors.
Report any deviations to appropriate area manager/supervisor.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED; and minimum two (2) years of related experience in production, materials management, or manufacturing; or combination of education and experience.
Positive Performance Review (applies to internal personnel changes for current Atec, Inc. & subsidiary location employees).
