What you’ll do as a Sales Representative:

The Interplastic Sales Representative serves as the commercial point of contact for customers in their assigned region. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth through new business development and by cultivating strong relationships with existing customers. The Sales Representative provides product knowledge, supports technical inquiries, and collaborates with internal teams to deliver customized solutions that meet customer needs.

  • Serve as the first point of contact for all customer needs, inquiries, issues, and concerns.
  • Drive sales and revenue by identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities.
  • Focus on scouting for new customers and growing existing relationships.
  • Provide expert knowledge of Interplastic and HK branded products.
  • Understand and articulate technical information on polymer resins and gel coats effectively.
  • Foster strong relationships between customers and the Technical Support Team.


What you can expect to do as a Sales Representative:

Sales and Business Development

  • Identify and target potential customers across key industry segments.
  • Develop and execute territory sales strategies to meet or exceed targets.
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and industry trends.
  • Grow accounts by developing strategies to maximize revenue.
  • Serve as the point of contact for new customers, new markets, and new business at existing customers.
  • Manage price quotations, proposals, and communication with decision-makers.
  • Build and maintain relationships with purchasing and leadership teams.
  • Proactively seek out and close new business.
  • Partner with Technical Representatives to ensure product innovation and competitiveness.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build strong, long-term relationships with customers.
  • Conduct regular visits and meetings to understand customer needs.
  • Address inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly with professionalism.

Product Knowledge and Technical Expertise

  • Develop deep understanding of Interplastic’s full portfolio, including gel coats and resin systems.
  • Provide initial technical guidance to customers.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to support customer applications and product performance.

Sales Presentations and Negotiations

  • Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and sales terms.
  • Prepare and submit timely sales forecasts and reports.

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with the regional Technical Support Team, sales leadership, and marketing.
  • Collaborate with R&D to stay updated on new product developments.
  • Represent Interplastic at trade shows, conferences, and industry events.


What we are looking for in a Sales Representative:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Chemistry, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in chemical, resin, or manufacturing industries.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Technical aptitude with the ability to understand and explain resin and gel coat products.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable managing a territory.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% within assigned region.
