Dual Immersion Intermediate Spanish Language Arts and Spanish History/Spanish Social Science Teacher 2025-26 na Garden Grove Unified School District

APPLICATION PROCEDURE: Please fill out the application online and attach the following documents to your completed application: cover letter, resume, three (3) letters of recommendation (must be dated within the last year and at least one letter must be from a direct supervisor), single subject credential in English and/or Social Science, bilingual authorization in Spanish preferred, copies of all college transcripts (graduate and undergraduate; must include community college, if attended), proof of CSET passage and evaluations from student teaching or teaching (if just completed).

BCLAD: Spanish (or Bilingual Authorization in Spanish is preferred) AND at least one of the following: Valid Single Subject Credential in: English & Social Science or Valid Single Subject Credential in: English & at least 12 semester units in Social Science or Valid Single Subject Credential in: Social Science & at least 12 semester units in English or Valid Multiple Subjects Credential and 12 semester units in English and 12 semester units in Social Science

Applicants should be fluent in Spanish reading, writing, and speaking. Must be an excellent language model in both Spanish and English. Have an understanding of culture and history of Spanish-speaking people and countries. Will involve parents and community members in student learning.

The majority of the interview will be held in Spanish. All applicants will be required to engage in a writing activity in Spanish. We appreciate and consider all applications but will only contact candidates who are selected for a personal interview.
