Position: I.T. Manager
Job location: El Reno, OK
Gemini Coatings is seeking an I.T. Manager at its El Reno, Oklahoma facility. The position is an experienced level position with growth opportunities. Position is fulltime and has full benefits, including 401K match, vacation time, annual/monthly bonus potential, health and dental insurance, and many more benefits.
This position is responsible for the day to day management of the IT department and its staff, as well as coordinates and oversees projects relating to system development and/or equipment which fall under the responsibility of the IT department. This management role supports the business with strategic IT direction and system management of the company’s information technology systems. The IT Manager directs, plans, organizes, and controls all aspects of the IT Department to effectively balance strategic direction, project/personnel management and hands-on seamless implementation and support of technical solutions
Qualifications
Expectations & Job Responsibilities:
- Manage (hire, train, coach and measure performance of) all IT team members to ensure alignment with business strategy and produce results. Set departmental performance standards to meet business goals and objectives. .
- Procure, install, and maintain all computer hardware, software. Evaluate new equipment, software, and processes regularly and recommend changes as appropriate. Develop and own system failure and disaster recovery plan for all company Information Systems. Maintain security of all proprietary data and provide complete regular backup of all Information Systems. Act as liaison between hardware/software suppliers, company leadership, and end-users of IT Systems.
- Operational decision making. Daily evaluation of all Information Systems processes and procedures regular recommendations for improvement
- Create, maintain, and enforce written policies and procedures regarding all company Information Systems and handling of confidential information.
- Monitor existing IT systems and procedures, capacity planning, software upgrades, system integration and overall support and reporting. Create system/software change specification, coordinate with contractors and vendors, and manage release process. Propose appropriate adjustments where needed.
- Participate in annual budgeting process and company forecasting. Set appropriate goals and strategies to meet or exceed budget allocation. Work closely with company leadership and decision makers to identify, recommend, develop, implement and support cost-effective technology solutions for the organization
- Provide leadership summaries on a regular basis.
- Develop detailed project requirements, timelines and controls for all application development and new releases.
- Manage asset identification and management, preventative maintenance and replacement schedule for all company technology tools and equipment.
- Must be able to assist users with any questions related to the enterprise I.T. system.
- Provide excellent customer service to all Gemini Industries employees in an organized and timely manner.
- Possess a high work ethic, moral and personal integrity and honesty.
- Be mature, flexible and self-motivated.
- Exemplify professionalism in personal appearance, manner and dress according to acceptable standards set by the company.
QUALIFICATIONS and REQUIREMENTS:

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field of study or other substantial experience related to the position.
Skills/Knowledge: The IT Manager must:

- Demonstrated I.T. project management and leadership.
- Strong information systems development, improvement, and support.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple priorities.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of managing personnel.
- Excellent oral and written interpersonal communication skills.
- Problem analysis and resolution.
- Experience in system administration including system maintenance, workstation support, Internet connectivity, security services, load monitoring, and back-up procedures.
- Extensive working knowledge of the hardware and software that embrace the enterprise I.T. system.
- Extensive knowledge of software and operating systems.
- A deep understanding of telecommunication systems.
- Extensive knowledge of networking standards, protocols, security, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
