Job Responsibilities:
The Learning and Development Leader is responsible for defining training needs to align with Welo Data’s business strategy and building teams and programs to deliver on those needs. The role will be responsible for content development and deployment, driving the outward adoption of L&D metrics-based decision making for stakeholder partners, and designing the growth of the L&D organization within Welo Data.The following is a non-exhaustive list of responsibilities and areas of ownership for this role:
Ensure the strategic development of training agenda and L&D function to match evolving business needs
Evaluate individual and organizational performance to ensure metrics-driven performance
Identify training needs by engaging with relevant stakeholders (Exec, Global Leadership, HR) and assessing development requirements
Engage with stakeholders across Growth and Welo Data to drive a future state of cross-functional collaboration and “staffing model” engagement styles
Operationalize the development and delivery of training to reduce costs and maximize the value of training for our workforce
Monitor, evaluate, and report on the effectiveness of all training initiatives
Work with HR and Talent & Community Leadership, support development and management of leadership development and career path frameworks within L&D
Manage Learning Partners to support development and delivery of training material
Manage all Learning Management Systems & supporting tooling to maximize usage and benefit to our workforce and organization
Additional Job Details:
Education Level
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) or equivalent educational/professional qualification
Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in a learning and development role or equivalent educational/professional experience
Minimum 2 years in a management role – with focus on training strategy and team development
This role will call upon exceptional partnership, collaboration, project management, analytical, and creative skills.
The individual in this role will need to thrive in ambiguous situations and demonstrate a high degree of judgment in sensitive situations.
Ability and willingness to travel and maintain a flexible work schedule
