Research Assistant (with graduate-level degree)

Facilitating Multi-Sectoral Exchange towards Urgent Policy Advocacy: Access to Health and Social Services for Uninsured Migrants

(SSHRC Connections Grant)

  • Participate in Montreal and pan-Canadian research team meetings to coordinate efforts, receive guidance, training and feedback
  • Contribute to the logistical coordination of the project: meetings, travel, scheduling
  • Participate in literature reviews related to access to health and social services, as well as effective strategies for policy advocacy
  • Participate in the preparation of the research tools essential to this project: provincial “report cards” on access to health; policy brief templates; key fact sheets
  • Contribute to writing of articles and preparing presentations for academic conferences
  • Plan for reporting back to different stakeholder groups
  • Other research activities related to this project as they arise
