The role:

BV is seeking an experienced Senior Renewable Energy Engineer. The candidate should have a High-level understanding of the energy yield assessments and experience in Design review, verification, and assessment of the renewable energy plants. This may include budget, schedule, quality, risk, contract and stakeholder management, supervising the construction, procurement activities, involve with the negotiation with EPC, managing industrial relations etc.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solar/Wind/BESS site visits, inspections, RCAs
  • High-level understanding of the energy yield assessments
  •  Design review, verification, and assessment of the renewable energy plants
  • Experiences with EPC, O&M, and module supply agreement contract reviews
  •  Perform technical due diligence, construction monitoring, and payment milestone authorization of the Wind, Solar and BESS
  • Manage the Projects as the owners or lenders engineer
  • Knowledge on wind Projects is a plus
  • Manage other engineering sub-consultants to meet the requirements of BV’s clients.
  •  Maintaining communication with engineers of other international BV offices
  • facilitating information sharing in the area of electrical engineering for renewable energy plants.
  •  Client liaison, including development and continual review of client requirements, managing client expectations, keeping clients informed of work progress and ensuring timely production of deliverables
  • Participate and represent BV in renewable energy conferences, events, etc.
  •  Any other tasks requested by the Engineering Manager

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor of Electrical Engineering, Masters is preferred
  • Working in the consultancy environment as owner and lender engineer is Essential
  • Wind, Solar/BESS farm site experiences
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent Report writing skills
  • This role may require 20-30% of travel

Base Salary will be between $130,000 – $150,000 depending on skills, qualifications and experience. Plus well paid overtime & allowances, and an opportunity to advance your career in a leading global organisation.
