Are you a dynamic leader who thrives in fast-paced educational settings? RAFT is looking for an enthusiastic Camp Site Director to help create unforgettable learning experiences for campers. In this role, you’ll collaborate with our Program Leadership team to ensure smooth daily operations, foster a safe and engaging camp environment, and uphold the highest standards to leave a lasting impression on every participant.
What You’ll Do
• Lead Daily Camp Operations: Oversee check-in/out, class activities, outdoor events, surveys, and our signature end-of-week showcase. Maintain accurate attendance, medical, and pick-up records while ensuring staff breaks are scheduled fairly and operations run seamlessly.
• Build Strong Family Connections: Serve as the primary point of contact for parents through email, phone, and in-person conversations. Keep families informed and invite them to celebrate campers’ achievements at the showcase.
• Maintain a Great Facility: Act as the on-site contact for any facility or tech needs, coordinating with janitorial and IT staff to keep spaces clean, safe, and well-equipped.
• Guide and Empower Staff: Supervise and support camp staff, provide feedback to help them excel, and communicate staffing needs or concerns with the RAFT education team.
• Invest in Growth: Participate in at least 10 hours of onboarding and professional development before camp begins, engage in debrief sessions, and take on additional coordination as needed.
What We’re Looking For
• Energetic, service-oriented leader with a passion for working with children in educational or childcare settings.
• At least two years of student program management experience (supervisory experience a plus).
• Bachelor’s degree (Educational Administration/Leadership certificate preferred).
• Commitment to being on-site 8 hours a day during camp.
• Comfortable learning cloud-based management tools, solving problems on the fly, and thriving in a collaborative environment.
• Must complete TB Risk Assessment and fingerprint clearance (paid for by RAFT).

As Site Director, you’ll play a key role in shaping meaningful experiences for both campers and staff while growing your own leadership skills in a supportive environment.
