Position Details:
This role is on a rotating shift schedule of 10 hours per day averaging 40 hours per week.
The hourly rate is $27.41

A Day in Life:
The Meal Loadout is responsible for meal loading into rail cars, general housekeeping and maintenance of the Crush Department. This role reports to the Production Supervisor.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Load train cars and trucks.
- Inspect each rail car and truck to ensure product integrity and safety. Reject cars and trucks that do not meet standards. Fill out the inspection forms. Make sure the product identifier is correct on the car.

- Be able to use GTM, SAP, and One Weigh
- Able to lift consistently up to 22.7 kg.
- Climb ladders, and to be able to do confined space entries.

- Sample and record representative samples for laboratory analysis on each load.
- After loading rail cars, check to make sure they are not leaking and complete "affidavit of Loading" sheet and any other informational papers as required.
- Check storage tank levels to prevent tank overflows and for inventory checks.
- Check and clean dust collecting systems to ensure they are working properly. Perform minor maintenance on equipment when time allows or directed by supervision.
- Keep up to date on all inhouse and on line training
- Perform any other related duties as required, or requested by Crush Management.
- Full knowledge of and compliance with related Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Full knowledge of and compliance with Standard Operating Procedures in the Meal Loadout.
- Full knowledge of and compliance with Standard Operating Procedures of the Rail Yard.
Skills/Experience Requirements:
- Grade 12 education or equivalent. Agricultural background is an asset.
- Good mechanical aptitude.
- Good computer/ keyboard skills.
- Able to lift consistently up to 22.7 kg.
- Must be able to work from heights and in confined spaces.
- Ability to communicate effectively both oral and written.
