Northrop Grumman Space Systems Payload and Ground Systems Division in Linthicum, Maryland is seeking a Senior Radar Processing / Algorithm Expert to support a Space RADAR Payload program.
Responsibilities include:
Expected to work on detailed anomaly investigations, new or improvement algorithm modeling/analysis, as well as general collection & processing guidance.
Generate technical presentations for internal and external audiences.
Work with the software team to turn new algorithms into operational code, generate test data, and verify implementation with operational data.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or Mathematics with 14 years of related experience; 12 years with Master's; 9 years with PhD
Experience with modeling RF sensor systems in MATLAB®
Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI approval/access.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master of Science degree with electives in radar signal processing
Experience in radar signal processing
Experience integrating and testing of modes/algorithms on RADAR systems
Greater programming experience/expertise in MATLAB®, C/C++, and Python
