What You’ll Be Doing Everyday…

• Leads by example while encouraging and assisting the associates in their area to ensure team productivity, e.g., staying on task, troubleshooting issues.

• Understands all process and procedure for the area at a high level to train and coach associates on the process.

• Proactively communicates issues, e.g., area issue, and collaborates with supervisors and managers to ensure clear communication and overall team performance.

• Prioritize workloads and provide clear assistance to the team, e.g., delegate warehouse housekeeping duties and ensure they are performed every day.

• Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need…

• 2+ years in warehouse operations preferred

• 1+ years supervisory or team lead experience 

• Basic writing and warehousing math skills

• Systems understanding: Ability to learn on-the-job and through training

• Ability to identify and communicate improvements, opportunities, and ideas to team members and managers

• Ability to work in a warehouse environment that is subject to variable temperatures and weather

• Ability to perform repetitive or continuous physical demands: standing, walking, sitting, use of hands and fingers, grasping, reaching/overhead, climbing, bending, kneeling, squatting, stretching, pulling, pushing, using ladders, and frequently lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds or more

• Flexibility and dependability is required and must be willing to work overtime, second shift, weekends, and holidays to support production needs

Work Environment…

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7am - 4pm with additional mandatory overtime hours as needed during peak seasons

• May involve exposure to loud machinery, fluctuating temperatures, and moving mechanical parts
