We're looking for a Residential Auxiliary Support Technician eager to make a difference by ensuring timely medication fills and keeping coworkers up-to-date with training. You'll foster strong relationships with other teams to develop clear, effective training materials, and provide trainings to new employees and ongoing updates to others. Additionally, you'll lead PCL's Climate Action Team and participate in an on-call rotation to monitor weather events. As a Residential Auxiliary Support Technician, you'll play a crucial role in enhancing service quality and ensuring a person-centered approach for everyone we serve!

Wage & Benefits: $20.00 per hour

Position Type: Full-Time, 40 hours weekly

  • General hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm.
  • Mainly located at our Monmouth Main Office and may include nights, weekends, and travel as scheduled.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education Requirements: High school diploma/GED required. (Certificate or Associate’s degree in a related field preferred).
  • Experience Requirements: Experience with Therap, administrative procedures, and presenting learning materials.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age when starting employment.
  • Competent in Microsoft, Google, and Therap applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality and ethical behavior.
  • Well-organized and attentive to detail.
  • Cooperative and willing to learn.
  • Ability to interpret various instructions.
  • Enhanced math skills – must be able to accurately balance a budget and basic math transactions.
  • Professional, clear, and positive oral and written communication skills both expressive and receptive.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English (reasonable accommodation may be made).
  • PCL’s Team members must have dependable, reliable, and regular work attendance, and must adhere to attendance policies.

Job Duties:

  • Serve as one of PCL’s Therap Provider Administrators, and fulfill the required duties related to being a provider administrator.
  • Research ways to enhance the user-friendliness and efficiency of Therap.
  • Collaborate with families and county personnel to set up and train on Therap usage.
  • Plan and participate in PCL’s annual Therap training.
  • Provide Orientation and Leadership Academy trainings to team members.
  • Keep the Therap Manual and other documents up to date.
  • Facilitate PCL’s Climate Action Team, monitor weather events for notifications, and participate in the on-call rotation.
  • Participate in Cycle Fill and Order processes.
  • Track and distribute medical and therapy supplies for PCL.
  • Provide support and training for Google tools/Therap as needed.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with departments both outside and inside PCL.

Certifications and Training:

  • Must pass required DHS background check and Protective Service Investigations.
  • This position require a valid driver’s license and to meet insurance eligibility requirements.
  • Complete and maintain all certifications as required by the position, PCL, and other governing agencies.
  • Become a Therap Certified Trainer within one year of hire (training provided if hired).
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain certification to a satisfactory level in Oregon Intervention System (training provided if hired).
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain certification in CPR (training provided if hired).
  • Complete all duties related to being a Mandatory Abuse Reporter.
  • New hire orientation and on-site training must be completed within 60 days of hire.
