Daily Lunch Program


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Communicate on a daily basis with Assistant Golf Professionals and Outside Services Manager about day’s events and operations.
  • Assure golf cars are cleaned and washed per club standard.
  • Restock and rotate golf cars based on what cars went out that day.
  • Ensure all golf cars are placed on charge and ready for the next day on a daily basis.
  • Maintain clean towels, including washing, drying, and folding.
  • Setup the Practice Facility daily, including laser yardages daily.
  • Follow hitting area rotation schedule on the practice facility.
  • Restock buckets and pick range when needed.
  • Keep the chipping area and putting green clean, free of golf balls and setup to standard.
  • Fill clean buckets of balls in evening in preparation for next day’s opening shift.
  • Set up members and guest’s bags for play.
  • Put away member and guest bags in proper storage location and in timely fashion.
  • Maintain rental set inventory by keeping clubs and bags clean.
  • Greet members and guests in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Load golf bags on carts and move carts to cart staging area.
  • Give directions to members and guests as needed.
  • Keep staging area well stocked with carts throughout the day.
  • Clean all players’ golf clubs thoroughly.
  • Assure that all bags are tagged properly.
  • Provide information on club policies and procedures, and upcoming events to members.
  • Load and unload golf bags in and out of vehicles.
  • Must be able to perform other duties as assigned by manager.
  • Anticipating Member and Guests needs and providing service before they ask.
  • Attending to special requests are commonplace and part of daily operations.




Requirements

REQUIREMENTS

  • Prior Private Club experience preferred but not required.
  • Must have a valid driver license at all times and capable of driving a golf cart.
  • Heavy lifting, carrying, pulling, pushing, etc. of objects weighting up to 60 lbs.
  • Must be able to sit, squat, reach, bend, stoop and wipe vehicles of all sizes.
  • Able to work outdoors, exposure to various weather conditions, heat, cold, wind and rain.
  • Must be able to remain on feet standing, walking, jogging and running for up to 8+ hours.
  • May be exposed to tobacco smoke, fumes, cleaning supplies, chemicals, toxic substances, noise, sharp tools, and machinery with moving parts.
  • Must be able to clearly interact verbally with members and guests.
  • Outgoing, friendly, courteous and patient with members, guests and other co-workers.
  • Ability to interact daily with members and handle challenging customer relations issues.
  • Must learn member names and use them when greeting members.
  • Must have professional appearance; follow grooming standards and uniform policies.
  • Must be able to operate a tablet and other office equipment such as computer, fax and copier.
  • Reading and writing skills required.
  • Must be able to work various shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
