Description

The Self-Directed Hiring Technician provides excellent new hire experience to Lifeworks employees while performing all tasks associated with the onboarding, maintenance, and offboarding processes for all fiscal employees. The Self-Directed Hiring Technician is responsible for sending out hiring events, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed, and guiding new hires through each step of the onboarding process. This position will be the first point of contact for Lifeworks employees and will require excellent communication skills while guiding new employees through the onboarding process.


Position Title: Self-Directed Hiring Technician

Department: Human Resources

Hours: Full-time; 40 hours/week, Monday – Friday (non-exempt)

Location: Lifeworks Services – Richfield, MN (Hybrid)

Compensation: $20 to $23 per hour

Bonus Eligible: Yearly

How you’ll be spending your time:

  • Coordinating and executing all onboarding process steps for fiscal employees in a timely and accurate manner, including employment applications, DHS background studies, E-Verify, UMPI requests, and other related tasks.
  • Ensuring all data is entered or updated into appropriate systems (CRM, Cashe, Pavillio, SL, Outlook and external systems).
  • Completing all termination process steps for terminated fiscal employees ensuring all data is properly documented and filed, termination checklists are completed, and access is removed from appropriate systems.
  • Collaborating with program leaders, staff, and counterparts in other programs/regions to define, own performance of, and continuously improve procedures, and processes, delivering or exceeds performance related to accuracy, timeliness, cost, and both internal and external customer satisfaction.
  • Providing excellent customer service to external and internal stakeholders to resolve issues or satisfy information requests. This can be facilitated either in-person, virtually, through e-mail or the telephone.
  • Maintaining, auditing and protecting confidential information according to HIPPA and internal compliance standards. Ensure adherence to state and federal employment regulations that cover their processing work.
  • Planning, managing and executing manual and automated workflows for all Lifeworks service lines. Regularly update database to ensure consistent, accuracy and timeliness in data sources and to processes dependent upon them.
  • Following safety procedures and assist in identifying safety needs for self and others. Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Must pass a background study with the Department of Human Services, a drug test, clean driving record and have reliable transportation to use for work driving purposes (e.g., in-office, on-site training locations, etc.).

Requirements

  • High school diploma require.
  • Experience in Human Resources or related field preferred.
  • Fluent in English, verbal and written.
  • Bi/Multi-lingual preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
