Aspire Allergy & Sinus is seeking a driven and experienced Clinical Manager to join our team in the San Antonio region. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring our patients receive exceptional care by supporting our medical providers and leading highly trained front and back office staff.

The Clinical Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of multiple clinics within the region, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and outstanding patient experiences. Reporting to the Regional Director of Operations, this leader will coach, develop, and guide clinical teams while fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence in patient care.

Travel Locations:
This role may require travel to several of our clinic locations, including Stone Oak, Alamo Heights, Bandera, Westover Hills, New Braunfels, and occasionally Victoria.

  • Lead all non-provider Front and Back office medical staff in all operations required to support patient care at all assigned clinics. 
  • Coordinate with local providers to drive compliance to Aspire protocols, foundational practices and plans of care. 
  • Coordinate with Patient Services, Billing and Pharmacy departments to support continued patient care.
  • Support initiatives to improve operations and the patient experience.
  • Address any patient complaints or identified service issues from your assigned clinics to remedy poor patient experiences. 
  • Maintain continued education in all core front office and back office processes and protocols and be able to operate in a front or back office capacity as required.
  • Ensure the clinic is stocked with all supplies and equipment to support continual operations and that company purchasing and inventory procedures are adhered to.
  • Support the front and back office clinical staff with clinical duties when needed.
  • Create a culture of quality and safety by maintaining a high level of clinical training across all staff and ensuring adherence to safety reporting and the conduct of safety drills.
  • Perform a site visit to each clinic in your assigned market(s) at least two times a month.

Competencies

  • Extensive clinical knowledge
  • Basic computer knowledge (Word, Excel and Power Point)

  • Ability to manage varying schedules/nuances.
  • Able to communicate effectively both verbally and written.
Supervisory responsibilities
  • Staff department and create/maintain workflows in coordination with the Regional Director of Operations that meet assigned department performance benchmarks.
  • Set and align employee goals to support department goals and communicate them to team members.
  • Responsible for training all new front and back-office staff on Aspire learning objectives.
  • Train, coach and mentor employees to meet clinic appointment capacity and patient treatment and procedure conversion goals.
  • Measure and report on individual employees and department progress.
  • Develop a positive work environment by building and maintaining strong interpersonal relationships among team members.
  • Provides leadership by demonstrating effective communication skills, problem solving, proactive conflict resolution through the use of critical thinking
  • Create and review your department’s collective and individual goals and their performance each quarter via WorkTango (Formerly Kazoo)
  • Oversee Time-Off Requests and manage staffing calendar to ensure appropriate coverage for clinics.
  • Approve timecards, PTO requests and edit timecards in a timely manner for payroll purposes
  • Handle disciplinary action as needed with HR.

Requirements

Required education and experience
  • 2 Years of clinical leadership experience 
  • Experience working directly with healthcare providers to facilitate clinical operations
  • Experience with both Practice Management and Electronic Medical Records software
Preferred education and experience
  • 2 Years of clinical leadership experience in both Front & Back office
Travel required
This position will require you to travel up to 33% of the time.
