Tuscumbia - Automotive Recon Service Tech - Full-Time na Long-Lewis Auto Group

Long-Lewis of the Shoals is looking for a motivated Automotive Recon Service Tech to join the team! In this role, you'll be responsible for conducting detailed vehicle inspections, performing light mechanical repairs, and preparing vehicles for the next stage of the reconditioning process. 

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough mechanical and safety inspections on incoming inventory, identifying repairs and maintenance.

• Accurately diagnosing and executing minor repairs and servicing tasks, including brakes, fluids, filters, belts, etc.

• Evaluate the overall condition of each vehicle and document findings clearly for internal use.

• Collaborate with service advisors and management to prioritize and communicate vehicle status.

• Ensure vehicles meet dealership and regulatory standards prior to moving forward in the reconditioning process.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Proven hands-on experience working on various vehicle types, including diesels.

• Strong understanding of automotive systems and diagnostics.

• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license and a clean driving record.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple vehicles at different stages of the reconditioning cycle.

• Strong communication skills, positive attitude, and a team-first mindset.
