With 35 years of experience, Summit Point Motorsports Park and Training Facility provides Commercial Motorsports events along with customized Security and Emergency Medical training solutions on our 786-acre facility located in Summit Point, WV. At Summit Solutions Group (SSG), we are the mission support arm of the Summit Point Training Facility. As a dedicated US Government contractor, we specialize in delivering comprehensive solutions that ensure operational excellence and mission success.


WHAT YOU’LL DO

The Stock Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, tracking and logging Government-Furnished Property (GFP) and Government-Furnished Equipment (GFE), and ensuring that all supplies and materials are properly received, stored, and issued. This role supports day-to-day operations by maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting audits, and utilizing inventory management systems to ensure compliance with company and government requirements.


This position is contingent upon contract award. Employment will commence only if the contract is awarded. 


The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Track, record, and maintain inventory levels to support operational needs.
  • Log and monitor GFP and GFE in compliance with applicable regulations and company policies.
  • Receive, inspect, and issue supplies, equipment, and materials as requested.
  • Accurately enter and update inventory data in designated software systems (e.g., Sunflower or equivalent).
  • Perform regular cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits.
  • Maintain organized storage areas and ensure materials are labeled and accounted for.
  • Coordinate with other departments to fulfill supply requests and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Support property management requirements and reporting for GFP/GFE.
  • Follow safety, security, and accountability procedures in handling supplies and equipment.

Requirements

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; preferred.
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
  • Prior experience in supply, warehouse, or inventory control role.
  • Familiarity with government property accountability standards (GFP/GFE).
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift and move supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Customer service skills for communications with delivery personnel.

Preferred:

  • Training or certifications in inventory management or logistics (CLA, CLT)
  • Forklift Operator Certification
  • OSHA 10
  • Familiarity with Sunflower software.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Standing, walking, and operating vehicles for extended periods.
