As our RN Simulation Lab Coordinator, you’ll be at the forefront of immersive education—designing, delivering, and evaluating simulation experiences that close skill gaps and elevate clinical excellence. You’ll oversee the operations of our cutting-edge Simulation Laboratory (Sim Lab), collaborate with physicians and educators, and ensure every training moment is meaningful, realistic, and aligned with our mission.

What You’ll Do

• Use simulation to address knowledge, skill, and practice gaps identified through learning assessments
• Plan, design, and implement simulation-based education for Meritus Health associates
• Collaborate with medical education teams and physicians to optimize Sim Lab utilization
• Oversee all aspects of Sim Lab operations—educational, technical, and strategic
• Partner with organizational leaders to align simulation training with system-wide goals
• Evaluate program effectiveness and continuously improve simulation experiences

What You Bring

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or allied health field required
• Master’s in Nursing Education preferred

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years recent experience in an acute care setting

Licensure & Certification:

• Current RN license in Maryland or a qualifying compact state with multi-state privilege
• National certification in Clinical Specialty or Nursing Professional Development (or within 1 year of eligibility)
• BLS required upon hire; ACLS and PALS required within 1 year

• Tech-savvy with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, LMS platforms, and virtual learning tools
