Job Summary:

The Recruiter position oversees the candidate's experience from start to finish. This includes reviewing applications, conducting interviews, and matching candidates' qualifications with current openings across Goodwill's Retail Division. Recruiters ensure that candidates complete all pre-employment. You will gain valuable skills and experience while collaborating with our Human Resources Team in a fun environment, helping to meet divisional hiring needs and complying with all applicable local, state, and federal employment laws.The Recruiter position is expected to:

• Collaborate with Retail and Talent Acquisition Team Leadership to understand staffing needs and available positions throughout the organization.
• Review applications for all retail roles, reaching out to qualified candidates.
• Conduct phone and in-person interviews, making initial screening decisions or recommendations for retail positions.
• Manage requisitions from sourcing to fulfillment.
• Assist with onboarding by reviewing I-9 documentation and ensuring onboarding paperwork is accurate and complete.
• Attend on-site and off-site recruitment events to attract talented individuals to our organization.
• Provide excellent candidate experience, positioning Goodwill Northern New England as the Employer of Choice.
• Professionally conduct business and comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently. A criminal background check that meets Agency standards
• Valid Driver’s License

Preferred Qualifications:

• Education and/or experience in Human Resources is preferred but not required.
• Interviewing skills are preferred but not required.
