Job Description:We are actively hiring a part-time Marketing Assistant to support the client team by providing overall assistance on various marketing tasks and projects. The Marketing Assistant will help drive our digital presence by supporting social media campaigns, writing engaging blog content, and scheduling posts across platforms. This is a hands-on role where you’ll gain real-world experience in analytics, reporting, and campaign execution and directly contribute to our brand growth. We are seeking organized, detail-oriented, and flexible individuals who enjoy a collaborative team environment to thrive in the Marketing Assistant role.
Essential Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and publish content across social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
- Support the creation of social media campaigns and engagement strategies.
- Create, schedule, and send bulk email campaigns and newsletters while maintaining audience segmentation and tracking performance metrics.
- Write and edit blog posts, newsletter content, and other marketing copy.
- Track and report on social media performance metrics.
- Assist in brainstorming and developing new content ideas.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and style across all platforms.
- Collaborate with the team to meet deadlines and achieve marketing goals.
- Other miscellaneous duties as required.
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field OR relevant experience in marketing or social media
- Strong understanding of major social media platforms and trends
- Excellent writing and editing skills with attention to detail
- Creative thinker with the ability to generate engaging content ideas
- Highly organized, reliable, and able to work independently
- Familiarity with scheduling tools (e.g., Later, Hootsuite, Buffer)
- Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Spark, etc.)
- Familiarity with Microsoft products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
Position Type: Part-time, non-exempt role (15-20 hours per week), reporting to the Manager of Marketing & Business Intelligence
If currently enrolled student: Preferably enrolled at a local St. Louis area college/university as the position requires in-person availability during standard business hours
Work Arrangement: On-site presence required during normal business operations, hybrid work flexibility available
