About the Role:

The Controller will serve as the key financial leader within our manufacturing organization, overseeing all accounting operations and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting. This role is critical in managing budgeting processes, controlling costs, and optimizing financial performance to support strategic business objectives. The Controller will lead payroll functions and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, while also leveraging the SAP ERP system to streamline financial workflows and data management. By collaborating closely with manufacturing and assembly teams, the Controller will provide insightful financial analysis that drives operational efficiency and profitability. Ultimately, this position ensures that the company’s financial health is maintained and that financial risks are effectively managed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience working with SAP ERP systems in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing assembly processes and their financial implications.
  • Demonstrated expertise in budget management and financial planning.
  • Experience managing payroll functions and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation.
  • Advanced proficiency in SAP ERP modules related to finance and controlling.
  • Experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing company.
  • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and cost accounting.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in financial modeling and forecasting.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor budgets in collaboration with manufacturing and assembly departments to ensure cost control and financial efficiency.
  • Utilize the SAP ERP system to maintain accurate financial records, generate reports, and support decision-making processes.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies, including timely and accurate payroll processing.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for senior management and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and support internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with manufacturing operations and strategic initiatives.
