About the Role

As an Assistant Store Manager, you�ll help lead the charge in creating an amazing guest experience. Think of yourself as the right-hand partner to the Store Manager � keeping operations smooth, the team motivated, and the store looking sharp. You�ll support everything from sales and rentals to team development and visual displays. And when the Store Manager is out, you�ll confidently step in to keep the energy high and the store running strong.

What You�ll Be Doing (Besides planning your next run)

  • Partner with the Store Manager to keep the store safe, welcoming, and running at its best.
  • Lead by example � from coaching and training to recruiting and onboarding, you�ll help shape a team that delivers unforgettable guest service.
  • Jump in on the sales floor, making sure every guest leaves ready for adventure.
  • Oversee scheduling, expenses, and store policies to keep everything on track and within budget.
  • Keep inventory tight and displays on point so the store always looks its best.
  • Act as the go-to communicator between leadership and the team, keeping everyone aligned and informed.
  • Share your product knowledge and passion for the mountain lifestyle with guests and teammates.
  • For Bozeman candidates: safely drive the company van to transport employees (valid driver�s license + MVR check required)

Who You Are

  • High school diploma (or equivalent).
  • 2�3 years of retail experience under your belt, ideally in snow sports. Bonus points if you�ve worked in rentals.
  • 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience � you love developing people.
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office and POS systems (or quick to learn).
  • A strong communicator who can inspire, direct, and motivate.
  • Self-driven, organized, and ready to juggle priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physically able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Passionate about snow sports, the outdoors, and working as part of a team.

Compensation range starts at: $50,000- $58,000 annually. Actual pay will be based on experience and skillset.
Bonus eligible based upon company performance indicators.
