Your Purpose as a Titles Manager:
- Oversee daily operations of the Title Department, including hiring, training, and coaching team members.
- Serve as a resource for title specialists across the Baxter Auto Group, supporting hiring and training beyond the Shared Services team.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of all vehicle titles (new, used, wholesale, leased, and trade-in).
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal title regulations, including DMV requirements.
- Supervise title specialists, assign tasks, and monitor productivity and accuracy.
- Resolve title discrepancies or delays, including lien releases, power of attorney issues, and odometer disclosures.
- Handle escalated customer service issues promptly and professionally.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Support tax and title documentation and DMV submissions when needed.
- Verify out-of-state titles and follow up with dealerships weekly on missing or problem titles.
- Stay current on DMV requirements and titling laws, attending seminars and training sessions as needed.
- Model strong business leadership and uphold high standards of customer service.

Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license to operate a motor vehicle
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior title experience in automotive preferred.
- Knowledge of DMV procedures strongly preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
