Your Role:

• Set up and operate machinery to mark or stamp round work according to blueprints or specifications.
• Operate punch presses to pierce open end and box end forgings, and set up presses to form socket blanks of various sizes.
• Set up and operate several types of drilling machines to perform precision operations (drilling, boring, reaming, milling, tapping) on close tolerance work.
• Change drive wheels as needed, operate cranes, and transport parts.
• Continuously monitor and maintain quality standards, ensuring minimal scrap material.

What we’re looking for:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• At least 4 months to 1 year of related experience in an equivalent machine operation role.
• Ability to read blueprints and use tools such as gages, calipers, and micrometers.
• Ability to perform set-ups independently, with minimal supervision, within 4 to 6 hours.
• Ability to produce quality parts with minimal scrap material.
