POSITION SUMMARY (Basic purpose or primary function of job)

The Manager, Web Delivery, will be responsible for managing and optimizing all web-related initiatives driven by the Marketing & Communications department. This position serves as the central coordinator between the internal digital experience team, external web development agency, and cross-functional marketing stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to strategic goals.

The Manager will establish clear workflows and intake processes for web requests, translate business needs and wireframes into actionable project tasks, and ensure consistent use of the organization’s CMS platform and component library. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, process-driven, and highly collaborative, with a strong understanding of website management, vendor management, content strategy, and marketing technology integration (Salesforce CMS and Salesforce Marketing Cloud). This role also supports efforts in personalization, AI-driven optimization, and flexible testing frameworks to drive continuous improvement and fundraising outcomes.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (Principal responsibilities or job duties)

Project & Workflow Management

  • Develop, implement, and manage standardized workflows for intake, scoping, and delivery of web requests.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Strategy & Planning, Digital Experience, Content Editors, Analytics, Marketing Channels, and the external web development agency.
  • Translate wireframes and stakeholder requirements into clear specifications, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Establish project milestones, manage timelines, and track progress to ensure timely delivery.
  • Provide transparent reporting on project status, risks, and priorities to leadership and stakeholders.

Web Platform & Content Management

  • Maintain a deep understanding of the CMS platform web component library, personalization and other CMS capabilities.
  • Support the Sr. Director, Digital Experience by ensuring content and creative requirements align with CMS and component capabilities to inform wireframing and other digital experience design activities.
  • Collaborate with content editors, content strategy and planning team and creative teams to prepare assets (copy, images, video) that adhere to specifications and optimize for performance.
  • Partner with the web development agency to oversee implementation, testing, and launch of new features, templates, and site enhancements.
  • Conduct quality assurance (QA) testing across devices, browsers, and modules.

Cross-Team Collaboration & Optimization

  • Partner with Digital Experience team to ensure successful interpretation of their goals and objectives to deliver a positive and accessible user experience.
  • Partner with Marketing Insights & Optimization to ensure SEO, accessibility, and GEO best practices are integrated into site updates.
  • Collaborate with colleagues responsible for data-driven marketing to support personalization, AI-driven optimization, audience targeting, and integrations with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Support flexible testing frameworks (A/B, multivariate, personalization testing) to optimize digital experiences and fundraising outcomes.
  • Train and support internal stakeholders on web request processes, helping them articulate business needs effectively.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce bottlenecks, and enhance web project efficiencies.
  • Monitor emerging trends in web project management, personalization, and CMS best practices.

 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

  • 5–7 years’ experience in digital project/program management, web operations, or related field
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Strong project management background with demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams and vendor relationships
  • Expertise in web content management systems (Kentico CMS experience preferred)
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or other enterprise marketing automation platforms
  • Solid understanding of SEO, accessibility standards, and digital analytics best practices
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and facilitation skills
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
  • Agency-side experience or prior work with external vendors a plus
  • Experience managing large-scale web replatform and/or redesign projects a plus
  • Project Management certification (PMP, CSM, or equivalent) preferred but not required, as well as experience with project management systems like Hive, Jira, etc.
