About the Department
The Student Event Technician will assist the Theatre Operations Manager in the day-to-day maintenance and operations of the Wolfe Center performance venues which include: The Thomas B. and Kathleen M. Donnell Theatre, The Eva Marie Saint Theatre, The Conrad Choral Room, and/or The Eppler Dance Studio.

Position Duties
- Assist with the basic maintenance of Wolfe Center Systems
- Repairs to damaged equipment/cables
- Inventory
- Engineering and Operation of Department of Theatre and Film productions
- Engineering and Operation of external events using the Wolfe Center Venues
- Evening/weekend duties
Minimum Qualifications
- Ability to work at heights (25-75 feet above Stage and House)
- Ability to be certified with a Ladder, Man Lift, and Power Tools
- Must demonstrate some mechanical ability
- Ability to problem solve
- Ability to read/understand mechanical drawings
- Ability to differentiate color used to gel lighting instruments
- Ability to understand and implement both written and verbal directions
- Ability to lift 50lbs consistently
- Ability to tie basic types of knots used in stage rigging
- Self-starter with the ability to work alone as well as with a team
- Provide exemplary customer service with internal and external clients
