Job Purpose

We are looking for a highly skilled and creative Video Editor to join our production team, with a focus on delivering high-impact sports (Football) partnership and sponsorship content for social media platforms. The ideal candidate is a fast, detail-oriented, highly organised editor who thrives under tight deadlines and knows how to craft compelling narratives that resonate with fans and brand partners alike.

 

Key Deliverables & Responsibilities

  • Edit engaging and high-quality video content for football partnership and sponsorship campaigns, primarily for social channels (Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, LinkedIn).
  • Develop and enhance storytelling through strong narrative editing, ensuring content communicates key brand messages clearly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with producers, designers, and marketing teams to bring concepts to life while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Adapt, resize and repurpose content for different platforms and formats, optimising for maximum reach and engagement.
  • Incorporate graphics, animations, and motion design elements (using After Effects) to elevate visual storytelling.
  • Ensure all edits are delivered on time, to spec, and to the highest standard of quality and attention to detail.
  • Stay up to date with social media trends, editing techniques, and sports content best practices.

 

Allocation of Time

This will be 4 x days in the office and 1 x remote



Skills

  • Proven experience editing sports content, ideally within football or sponsorship/partnership campaigns.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects (essential).
  • Strong storytelling ability, with a keen eye for pacing, narrative flow, and emotional impact.
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently under tight deadlines without compromising quality.
  • High level of attention to detail across all aspects of editing, from timing to colour to sound across multiple deliverables.
  • Ensure quality control at all times eg. checking subtitles and graphics for grammar and spelling, correct use of brand guidelines including fonts and logos.
  • Ability to sync multi-cam shoots into timelines quickly and in an organised fashion to ensure smooth workflows.
  • Knowledge of social-first content strategies and platform-specific requirements.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

 

Other Skills & Knowledge

  • Knowledge of football culture and fan communities.
  • Motion graphics design experience beyond After Effects templates.
  • Experience with colour grading and sound design
