Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
We are looking for a Tableau & Data Integration Specialist (Senior Associate) to lead the delivery, governance, and optimization of Tableau dashboards and reporting across the organization. This role will also own the development of Python-based data integrations between Tableau and other platforms, ensuring accurate and actionable insights. The candidate should bring experience with modern data warehousing platform.
Provide expert-level support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for Tableau.
- Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports that drive actionable business insights.
- Define and enforce Tableau best practices, governance, and standards.
- Develop, test, and support Python-based integration scripts between Tableau and enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, HRIS, data warehouses, etc.).
- Partner with stakeholders to capture reporting requirements and translate them into scalable Tableau solutions.
- Optimize data models, extracts, and dashboard performance for large datasets.
- Assist in IT and analytics roadmap planning, including enhancements and new reporting capabilities.
- Train and mentor internal staff on self-service analytics and Tableau usage.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all integrated systems.
Education and Work Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or related field.
- Tableau certification (Certified Architect or comparable advanced level) strongly preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience working with Tableau (development, administration, governance).
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for integration and automation.
- Knowledge of data modeling and analytics frameworks.
- Experience with at least one modern data warehouse (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Synapse, etc.) preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to data quality and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for executive and business audiences.
