Job Summary
The Financial Analyst IV is a critical member of the Regeneration Medicine Team and plays a crucial role in the overall successful support and management of funding for the Faculty & Principal Investigators (PIs) within the Department of Regeneration Medicine. The Financial Analyst IV independently provides broad analytical fund management to a group of Faculty and provides critical support for complex budget, financial, or resource analysis for the department and various components. TThe individual will also provide high quality, efficient, responsive, and responsible financial analysis, reporting and forecasting, and administration services.
The Financial Analyst IV will rely on strong communication skills to be able to present and discuss data and reports to various client groups: staff, PIs, Department Leadership. The candidate will successfully research, interpret, clarify and apply all applicable Departmental, University and Agency policies and regulations, and to be able to clearly communicate the complexities of language around such polices and regulations. This position requires a high level of ethics and professional standards to handle sensitive matters with tact and sound judgment. The advanced experience of high-level independent portfolio management will be significant as this position will be lead on organizational programmatic management.
This is a hybrid-remote position, which includes a combination of 4 on-site and 1 remote workday.

- Advanced degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
- Advanced knowledge of finance policies, practices, and systems.
- Ability to identify, collect, and analyze information from multiple sources.
- Advanced ability to effectively present complex finance related information both verbally and in writing in a clear and concise manner.
- In depth ability to use multiple spreadsheet and database software tools to gather information for specialized, complex financial analysis, fiscal management, and financial reports.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Advanced knowledge of post award management, grants and all relevant policies and regulations.
