Advanced Practice Provider - Family Medicine Demorest na Longstreet Clinic

Longstreet Clinic is hiring a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Family Medicine office located in beautiful Demorest, GA. 

Demorest, GA is located in beautiful Habersham County and is approximately 1.5 hours north of Atlanta, GA. Come experience the clean mountain air and the beautiful scenery of the North Georgia Mountains in this tranquil setting. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

• Performing age-appropriate history and physical for patients.
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic and therapeutic tests relative to patient’s age-specific needs.
• Prescribing appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment modalities.
• Implementing interventions to support the patient to regain or maintain physiologic stability.
• Monitoring the effectiveness of interventions.
• Facilitating patient and family in clinical decision making.

Candidates should hold license as an advanced practice provider in the State of Georgia. Two-Three years of experience in a primary care setting preferred.
