Job Summary

Under the close supervision of the Plant Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for warehouse activities at the MiLa warehouse. They will work alongside the Production, Supply Chain, and Fulfillment teams to ensure proper receipt, storage, and timely delivery of packages within the warehouse.  

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, shipping, staging, and inventory management
  • Lead, train, and motivate warehouse team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
  • Ensure accuracy in inventory control through cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations
  • Monitor inventory levels, identify shortages or delays, and communicate with the purchasing and production teams
  • Oversee preparation and application of shipping labels, license plates, and documentation for raw materials, packaging, and finished goods
  • Coordinate with carriers for pickups and deliveries; verify that appointments are scheduled and executed correctly
  • Ensure compliance with warehouse procedures, GMPs, and safety protocols, enforcing SOPs for shipping, receiving, and storage
  • Maintain detailed records of product lots, holds, and dispositions in warehouse management systems
  • Manage warehouse equipment to ensure functionality and safety, arranging maintenance as needed
  • Resolve issues related to inventory discrepancies, order fulfillment, or shipment errors
  • Track, order, and report CHEP pallets, overseeing proper use and returns
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency and reduce operational costs
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills & Abilities

  • 2+ years of experience in warehouse supervision or a related leadership role (food manufacturing or distribution experience preferred)
  • Forklift experience required
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, and inventory management
  • Previous experience working with ERP or MRP required
  • Strong technology skills
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and related software
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and team-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Understanding of safety regulations and ability to enforce compliance
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, or related field preferred

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Frequent and prolonged work in a cold environment
  • Frequent walking and carrying items
  • Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds without accommodation regularly and up to 80 pounds occasionally with accommodation 
  • Must be able to pull up to 1500 pounds on a manual pallet jack and up to 5000 pounds with an electric pallet jack. 
  • Will lift, pull, stoop occasionally and be used to working in a physical warehouse environment

Schedule

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Shifts: Monday through Friday
  • Overtime and Weekends as assigned
