We’re seeking a warm, organized, and customer-focused Patient Coordinator to join our team. Key Responsibilities/Duties:
- Greet families with empathy and professionalism—by phone and in-person—and serve as the primary point of contact.
- Efficiently schedule and confirm appointments with flexible options to accommodate busy family needs
- Maintain accurate patient records, including insurance, intake, and medical/insurance updates
- Guide families through pre-visit forms and assist with electronic intake processes.
- Answer questions about dental services—such as exams, cleanings, preventive/restorative treatments, and first visits—in a clear, friendly manner
- Facilitate billing, insurance verification, and financial inquiries with clarity and compassion.
- Play a role in our community outreach and education partnerships with schools, daycares, and youth organizations
- Collaborate with clinical staff, ensuring smooth flow and supportive teamwork.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of experience in a patient-facing role—ideally in dentistry, pediatric care, or a service-oriented setting.
- Exceptional communication skills—kind, informative, and patient-centered.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and tech-savvy abilities—proficient with scheduling and EHR systems.
- Familiarity with dental terminology and insurance processes is a plus.
- Ability to remain calm, adaptable, and professional in a dynamic, child-friendly environment.
- A passion for working with children and families, and creating stress-free experiences.
