Quanex is looking for a Logistics Supervisor to join our team located in St. Cloud, Minnesota.
In this role you are responsible for domestic and international freight management along with production coordination. Other duties include carrier negotiations, maintenance of preferred carrier list, processing of receiving and shipping documents, manage open freight invoices and ensure on time payment, resolve issues with commercial logistics, and assist operations in managing production planning for the rough mill facilities, etc.

What Success Looks Like:
- Monitors programs and procedures to ensure on-time delivery.
- Approve invoices and negotiate freight contracts.
- Manage order demand and assign to rough mill plant given capabilities and capacity.
- Oversight of shipping and receiving department.
- Create positive team environment with strong communication between sourcing, operations and other Quanex divisions.
What You Bring:
- Associate’s Degree
- 5+ years relevant experience in management in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in MS software
Salary: $70,000 - $75,000 annually
Schedule: 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday - Friday (can be flexible if needed)
