Job Title: Sr. Sourcing Analyst

Job Summary:

The Sr. Sourcing Analyst will analyze supplier performance, market trends, and cost structures to develop category strategies and identify opportunities for cost savings, risk reduction, and process improvement. The role involves data analysis, supplier research, contract support, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to support strategic sourcing decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research and supplier analysis to identify potential vendors and sourcing opportunities.
  • Analyze spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities and develop and roll out sourcing category strategies.
  • Own the development and execution of RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs.
  • Evaluate supplier proposals and assist in the negotiation of legal and commercial terms.
  • Own and monitor supplier performance metrics, including quality, delivery, service levels, cost and compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., Finance, Legal, Operations, R&D, Sales & Marketing) to understand sourcing needs and align procurement strategies to ensure delivery of year-over-year cost savings. 
  • Maintain accurate sourcing data (e.g. source lists, pricing etc.) and documentation (e.g., quotes, contracts) in procurement and quality systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Own the timely execution of contract management activities, including renewals, amendments, and compliance tracking for low to medium risk agreements independently.
  • Track external market trends and pricing dynamics up against internal commercial strategics to ensure continued category strategy relevance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 5-7 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or data analysis.
  • Experience with sourcing tools and ERP systems preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of procurement best practices and contract terms.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in supply chain or procurement (e.g., CPSM, CIPS).
  • Experience in strategic sourcing or category management.
  • Familiarity with global sourcing and supplier diversity initiatives.
