Role Title: Senior Engagement Manager

BU/Segment: Banking / Data & Analytics

As an Engagement Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping digital transformation for leading banks and financial institutions. You’ll lead complex Data & Analytics programmes, drive measurable outcomes, and act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders.

As part of your duties, you will be responsible for:

  • Lead end-to-end project delivery in Data & Analytics, working hands-on while managing a blended onshore/offshore team.
  • Build and manage strong client relationships across the UK and Europe, understanding requirements, designing solutions, and ensuring seamless delivery.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and thought leader, bringing domain expertise in banking to shape client strategy and outcomes.
  • Provide technical leadership – guiding solution approaches, facilitating brainstorming, and ensuring quality deliverables.
  • Translate unstructured client challenges into creative, practical solutions that align with business objectives and available resources.
  • Assure the highest levels of client satisfaction, delivering projects on time, on budget, and with excellence.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the EXL product landscape, articulating its value to clients and embedding it into engagements.

Qualifications and experience we consider to be essential for the role:

  • Strong background in engineering or technology; an MBA is preferred.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex Data & Analytics projects in the banking/financial services domain.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to consult, influence, and build long-term client trust.
  • Experience managing global delivery teams across onshore/offshore models.
  • Demonstrated ability to assure quality and provide hands-on leadership in fast-paced environments.
  • Innovative and consultative mindset, capable of solving ambiguous problems.#
