As a Laundry Assistant at Grand Hyatt Barcelona, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our housekeeping and laundry department, ensuring that every piece of linen, uniform, and guest item is handled with care, precision, and pride.

What the Role Involves:

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, press, and distribute hotel linens, towels, uniforms, and guest laundry

• Operate industrial laundry equipment safely and efficiently

• Handle guest laundry with the highest standards of care and attention to detail

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area at all times

• Monitor laundry supplies and report inventory needs to supervisors

• Follow proper procedures for stain removal, fabric care, and machine maintenance

• Coordinate with Housekeeping and other departments to ensure timely service

• Assist in uniform issuance, tagging, and storage when needed

• Comply with all hygiene, health, and safety regulations

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role is preferred, but not essential

• Basic understanding of laundry operations and fabric care

   

• Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness

• A positive attitude and strong sense of teamwork

• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and efficiency
