Job Description
ACEREZ, a partnership of ACCIONA, COBRA and Endeavour Energy, has been appointed network operator by EnergyCo to design, build, finance, operate and maintain the Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) transmission network. The ACCIONA COBRA Joint Venture (ACJV), the design and construct (D&C) consortium, will design and build the Central-West Orana REZ transmission project.
The new transmission network infrastructure will deliver at least 4.5 gigawatts of new network capacity from 2028 to connect 7.7 gigawatts of wind and solar projects, which is enough to power more than 2 million homes each year.
Job Description
Our Central-West Orana REZ Transmission Project is currently seeking Multi Skilled Yard and Site Personnel to share their expertise within our Transmission line and Substation teams.
To thrive in this role, you will be required to be diverse and adaptable between various labouring duties and operating. No two days will be the same.
Successful candidates will be required to travel to Merotherie, NSW on a 14/7 roster, working 10-12 hour days. Travel, accommodation and meals will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Safe handling and movement of construction equipment and materials
- Receiving deliveries
- Operating Telehandler/Manitou
- Dogging and rigging duties
- Operating EWP
- General labouring including civil work, earth grid, fencing
- Day to day site maintenance
Required Skills and Competencies
Minimum Skills and Qualifications
- Telehandler ticket/Gold card
- High risk work license – Dogging, Rigging, EWP
- Excavator ticket (advantage)
- Construction white card
- Full C class driver’s license at minimum, HR License advantageous
- Own vehicle
- Willing to undertake a pre-employment medical and police check
