We have a role available for a PAS Regional Manager to join our Defence division, supporting this contract. This is a permanent full-time position based that could be based at any of the main defence bases in South Australia.

About the role
You will oversee and manage the contractual agreements with Defence for the region (all bases in South Australia), ensuring optimal performance.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Overseeing and managing all aspects of contractual agreements with service providers across multiple bases, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions at each location.
Developing, monitoring, and controlling budgets for base services across the state to ensure cost-effective operations and consistency in financial management.
Establishing performance metrics and conducting regular evaluations to ensure service providers at each base meet contractual obligations and maintain high standards.
Identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with base services operations and contractual agreements throughout the state.
Maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including military personnel, service providers, and government officials, across all bases to ensure alignment and effective communication.
Implementing and promoting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of base services across the region.
Preparing and presenting regular reports on contract performance, budget status, and operational issues to senior management, covering all bases within the region.
About you
Our ideal candidate will have:
Tertiary Qualifications in Business Administration, Management, Logistics, or a related field, or relevant experience in a senior management position managing a high-profile critical portfolio.
Proven experience in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks in complex operational environments.
Demonstrated ability to maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including military personnel, service providers, and government officials.
Experience in overseeing the procurement process, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships.
Track record of implementing and promoting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Ability to prepare and present regular reports on contract performance, budget status, and operational issues to senior management.
Experience contributing to the development and implementation of strategic plans for service delivery.
Expertise in developing, monitoring, and controlling budgets for base services (or similar) to ensure cost-effective operations.
Valid driver's licence.
You must be an Australian Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance.
