And we’re looking for a Product Designer to join our creative crew in sunny Brisbane!

 

Product Designer

As our next Product Designer, you’ll be at the heart of shaping how thousands of users experience EventsAir every day. You’ll turn complex problems into elegant, user-friendly solutions — from early sketches to polished prototypes. Working side-by-side with product, engineering, and design teammates, you’ll champion accessibility, usability, and

consistency, making sure every interaction feels effortless (and a little delightful ✨).


This position is based in our Brisbane office with a split of office work and work from home. 



What you’ll do

  • Design engaging, functional experiences — from wireframes all the way to clickable prototypes.
  • Map user journeys, process flows, and screen layouts that tell the “why” behind your design.
  • Team up with our Lead UX Designer, Product Owners, BAs, Engineers, and SMEs to refine ideas and nail the details.
  • Dive into user research and testing, turning feedback into smarter, stronger designs.
  • Apply (and add to) the EventsAir Design System, keeping things consistent across the platform.
  • Lend your creative spark to big initiatives and design reviews.
  • Clearly communicate design intent to developers so users get exactly what you imagined.



What you’ll bring

  • 5–8 years of UX/Product Design experience (bonus points if it’s in SaaS or tech products).
  • A portfolio that makes us go: “Wow, they get user-centred design.”
  • Fluency in Figma and other design essentials.
  • A knack for using AI-powered design tools to speed things up and spark innovation.
  • Hands-on experience with user research and usability testing.
  • Strong collab vibes — you thrive in cross-functional teamwork.
  • A solid understanding of accessibility and inclusive design principles.
  • The flexibility to pivot when things change (because they do!).
  • A passion for crafting quality design that balances creativity with pragmatism.
