Job Summary:
The Post-Installation Service Verification Specialist is responsible for conducting follow-up calls to customers after cable installation jobs. This role ensures that services are functioning properly, addresses any immediate concerns, and documents feedback. The specialist will use Excel spreadsheets and other basic computer tools to track outcomes, report issues, and support overall customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Make post-installation calls to customers to confirm cable services are working as expected.
- Ask structured questions to identify potential issues or service gaps.
- Record customer feedback, issues, and resolutions in tracking spreadsheets and internal systems.
- Escalate service or technical issues to the appropriate team for resolution.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all follow-up calls.
- Generate summary reports on trends, recurring issues, and customer satisfaction insights.
- Provide a positive customer experience through professional and courteous communication.
- Back up dispatch duties where needed.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in customer service, call center, or a related field is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic formulas, data entry, and reporting).
- Strong computer literacy with the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills.
