Job Summary:

The Flangeline Helper supports the Flangeline Operator in the preparation, handling, and processing of flatbar materials used in flange production. This entry-level role is essential to maintaining workflow efficiency, safety, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in staging and organizing flatbar materials for cutting, welding, and assembly.
  • Support the setup and operation of flanging equipment under operator supervision.
  • Perform basic cleaning and maintenance tasks to keep workstations safe and efficient.
  • Transport materials and finished components between work areas using appropriate tools.
  • Monitor production processes and alert the operator or foreman to any irregularities.
  • Help inspect finished flanges for visible defects and assist with quality control checks.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety protocols.
  • Wear required PPE and follow all safety guidelines to ensure a hazard-free workspace.
  • Document basic production activities and assist with inventory tracking as needed.


Requirements

  

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is a plus but not required.
  • Willingness to learn technical processes and follow detailed instructions.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work well in a team.
  • Basic understanding of tools and mechanical equipment is helpful.
  • Ability to lift and carry materials up to 75 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods.

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Exposure to heat, noise, and airborne particles typical of a manufacturing facility.
  • Required use of protective gear including gloves, goggles, and steel-toed boots.
