Overview:The Sr Director, Territory Talent Development will support top strategic territory imperatives through workforce planning, recruitment, team member development, succession planning, and annual process administration: Annual Performance Reviews, Merit, and Compliance Initiatives for the territory and supported offices. The role will create team engagement and champion the PDS Health platform within the territory ensuring platform execution. The Sr Director is a key contributor within a dynamic regional management team and the broader People team while acting as liaison with National Support.
Responsibilities
Strategic Partner with PDS Health: Learning and Training, Organizational Development and People Services departments; develop, test, launch and maintain Talent Management programs/standards.
Partner with Territory Partner to create and support a shared vision with regional leadership.
Create alignment with Manager and Director of Talent Development and regional trainers for territory; support strategic/tactical organizational and talent development, and training for Regional Partners.
Provide leadership, coach and develop territory leaders: Manager Talent Development, Director Talent Development, Regional Partners and Regional Clinical Leaders; support 5 to 8+ regions.
Ensure PDS Health platform, meetings and programs operate efficiently in alignment with standards throughout all markets.
Identify gaps and trends in the territory with talent team members and management processes impacting recruitment, attraction, retention and turnover.
Maximize resources and efficiency developing relationships between Regional Partners and markets.
Manage region trainings for trainers and coaches; oversee region execution of team member onboarding, training and development throughout markets and session audits.
Oversee territory execution of the “PDS Talent Development Cycle”; support performance reviews, talent development, individual development plans/360°s, succession planning, career paths, facilitation of trainings, and lead team member survey process in the region.
Develop methodology of valuation and tracking effectiveness of learning: Cost/ROI, Pre/Post.
Manage budget for training classes, materials, and travel for Regions and Territory.
Collaborate with Regional Partner and People leadership to execute programs to effectively meet regional business needs and align with the PDS behavioral framework.
Travel to Support Centers to identify challenges and opportunities, engage in strategic discovery; drive implementation efforts through shared responsibility and aligned execution.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Development or related field from an accredited college or university. In lieu of degree, 10+ years of professional experience.
12+ years of experience in related field.
5+ years of experience managing a team.
Travel to Support Centers, and quarterly to each supported region.
Preferred
Experience in a DSO, multi-unit retail, or regional healthcare.

Ability to master and leverage PDS processes, systems, tools, and the PDS platform while actively contributing to process improvements; identify and prioritize opportunities with concurrent accountability for improvement.
