We are seeking an individual located in the UK. This is a Remote work from home position, and individuals are required to reside and be authorized to work in the UK.

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Solutions Engineer to play a critical role in driving successful pre-sales initiatives, solution design, and post-implementation support. This role partners closely with Sales, Product, and Implementation teams to understand client needs, design tailored solutions and deliver compelling technology demonstrations. The Solutions Engineer will ensure a seamless transition from sales to delivery, contribute to client retention through ongoing support, and help identify opportunities for growth through new product and service offerings. Ideal candidates will possess strong technical acumen, excellent communication skills, and a passion for solving complex business challenges with innovative solutions.

While this role is 100% work from home, there will be up to 50% travel and individuals must reside in the UK.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the Sales team throughout all pre-sales activities, including RFP strategy, discovery sessions, needs analysis, presentation development, and value proposition positioning.
  • Attend client meetings to deliver presentations and conduct platform demonstrations that showcase user experience, tailored process flows, and high-level project plans to outline the implementation approach.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) across all products, platforms, and solutions by maintaining deep product knowledge, understanding key benefits and limitations, and effectively communicating value to prospective clients.
  • Lead implementation efforts for new clients by facilitating kickoff calls, creating initial project plans and timelines, conducting detailed discovery sessions, and documenting workflow and account setup requirements in the Solution Workbook and other supporting materials.
  • Obtain necessary approvals on solution documentation from clients, project managers, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment prior to implementation.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Solutions Analysts, and Project Management to optimize the client experience, streamline the discovery and blueprinting process, and reduce time to go-live.
  • Support customer retention efforts through activities such as account reviews, solution reconfigurations, and identifying opportunities for new product or service adoption.


What You Will Need to be Successful:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field, or equivalent experience in project management or a related discipline
  • 4+ years of experience in sales, pre-sales, or project management, preferably within the UK/EMEA background screening industry
  • Ability to travel up to 50% as needed to support client engagements and internal collaboration
  • Working knowledge of First Advantage’s products, platforms, and services (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of solution design and implementation processes, with the ability to translate client needs into actionable technical and business requirements
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proven ability to build strong cross-functional relationships with Sales, Product, and Implementation teams
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail in documenting workflows, project plans, and solution designs
  • Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel), CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and diagramming tools (e.g., Lucidchart, Visio)
