Technical Advisor na Valmet

We are looking for a Global Technical Advisor Engineer for Paper Machine Clothing technical service support.

Valmet Fabrics PMC (Paper Machine Clothing) unit is developing, manufacturing and selling paper machine clothing for paper, board, tissue and pulp machines worldwide. Technical Advisor Engineer will be working in the PMC Service Support. He/she will be responsible for PMC technical service support at key customers Globally.

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

• Technical measurement on forming, press and dryer section

• Continuous monitoring of the condition of PMC products

• Installation support

• Start-up support

• Troubleshooting and problems solving

• Training and supporting Valmet PMC service and sales engineers Globally

• Widely supporting customers with help of Valmet organization

Requirements:

You have suitable technical education and extensive experience with paper machines and papermaking processes. You preferably have also experience in technical customer service. In order to be successful in this job, you need to have the ability to plan and prioritize your own work independently. You are able to make fast analyses and provide technical recommendations to our key customers with help of organization. You have a systematic way of working and reporting. You have fluent verbal and written skills in English. Other languages are considered as an advantage. You are able and willing to travel Globally. Having experience leading a team or direct reports is an advantage.
