Position Summary:
The Cage Shift Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Cage Shift Manager in supervising daily cage, credit, and collection operations. The Cage Shift Supervisor will be in charge of assigned shift during the Cage Shift Manager’s absence. The Cage Shift Supervisor will oversee multiple cashier cages and credit and collection activities during assigned shift. Responsible for training, scheduling, and supervising Team Members in accordance with company and department policies. Responsible for issuing credit up to assigned limit. Responsibilities must be performed in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.
Essential Functions:
1. Practice, support, and promote Thunder Valley Casino Resort’s “ELITE” company-wide service mission and demonstrate AAA Four Diamond service standards at all times.
2. Safeguard assets of the company.
3. Supervise all Team Members assigned to the cage and credit operations on assigned shift.
4. Implement cage/credit policies and procedures as directed by the Cage Manager.
5. Handle Guest opportunities in a positive and professional manner, escalating when appropriate.
6. Approve and deny credit.
7. Maintain knowledge of Minimum Internal Controls (MICS) and System of Internal Controls (SICS).
8. Provide assistance to the Poker Cage as needed.
9. Issue and sign Cage disbursement checks
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
1. High school or equivalent education required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
2. ¬¬¬¬One (1) year of Cage experience is preferred. Prior supervisory experience is preferred.
3. Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members, and Management in both written and verbal form.
4. Ability to work with any bank in the Cage.
5. Ability to multi-task.
6. Ability to learn and understand Title 31 requirements.
7. Working experience using a computer and familiarity with cage-related computer applications.
8. Must be at least 21 years of age.
9. Must be able to obtain UAIC Tribal Gaming License.
Physical Requirements:
1. Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.
2. Ability to stand for duration of shift.
3. Ability to lift 25 lbs.
4. Requires manual dexterity to use job related equipment.
