• Six Sigma Trained;
• Advanced Windows Operating Systems experience and/or Linux;
• Knowledge of manufacturing process;
• Experience in a Material Planning role in a heavy equipment Manufacturing Environment;
• Proficiency in Word, Outlook, Power Point, and material management systems;
• Solid Problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills;
• Demonstrated ability to work in a self-directed, team based environment;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to negotiate solutions with suppliers and internal customers.

Key Job Elements
• Ensuring materials meet specifications, quality standards, and are cost-efficient;
• Ensuring the consistent and adequate supply of materials necessary for production;
• Coordinating with other departments regarding production goals, timelines, supplier payments, etc.;
• Tracking production volume, monitoring customer demand patterns, and purchasing trends;
• Scheduling and overseeing the supply and delivery of materials and products;
• Liaising with customers, suppliers, and distributors;
• Lead scheduling improvements of work order packets, capacity and information throughout facility;
• Managing inventory issues, schedule changes, and cancellations;
• Preparing cost estimates and performance reports.
Qualifications and Experience
• 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing experience;
• 2-5 years of material planning, inventory management, purchasing or related fields.
