Position Summary
The Campus Life Social Media Assistant will support the Office of Campus Life by creating engaging digital content and helping manage the department’s online presence. This role is designed for a creative, organized, and reliable student who is passionate about social media, storytelling, and building campus community.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and schedule weekly posts, stories, and updates across Campus Life social media platforms.
- Capture photos and videos at campus events, programs, and activities.
- Collaborate with Campus Life staff and student leaders to promote events, initiatives, and important updates.
- Develop creative campaigns to boost engagement and awareness of student life.
- Monitor analytics (likes, reach, engagement) and recommend improvements for performance.
- Ensure all content aligns with Post University branding and communication standards.
- Assist with flyer requests, form submissions, and digital signage updates as needed.
- Create and manage graphics and templates using Canva.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong interest in social media, digital marketing, or communications.
- Experience with platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and Canva (or willingness to learn).
- Basic graphic design and video editing skills preferred.
- Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to attend and cover evening/weekend events if needed.
Schedule & Compensation
- Approximately 10 hours per week; flexible schedule based on events and projects.
- Student worker position, paid hourly through Post University student employment.
